Want steady 40-hour weeks, no Saturdays, and a take-home van, without being on a service treadmill? Our client, a growing residential plumbing company, has a lineup of custom-home new construction projects and needs a skilled plumber to help lead that work. You'll work directly with the owner, have a real say in how jobs get done, and can earn extra through profit-sharing on added work.

THE BASICS
Location: Hamilton, IN
Pay: $28–$40/hour, depending on experience. $28–$33 is for mid-level plumbers who can work independently, and up to $40 is for highly experienced techs. There's room to go higher for the right candidate, plus profit-sharing on upsold work.
Service Area: 50-mile radius of Hamilton, covering Allen, Steuben, and DeKalb counties plus nearby Northwest Ohio
Schedule: Monday–Friday. Flexible start between 8–9 AM, typically done by 4–5 PM, occasionally 6 PM to finish a job. No Saturdays.
Hours: 40 hours a week. Overtime is kept to a minimum and not guaranteed.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Plumb residential new construction from start to finish, primarily custom homes built with established general contractor partners
• Handle remodel plumbing: reworking existing systems, relocating fixtures, and tying new work into old
• Service and replace fixtures and equipment as needed, including faucets, water heaters, and garbage disposals
• Work directly with homeowners and contractors, keeping job sites clean and customers informed
• Spot opportunities for additional work that genuinely helps the customer (no push-to-sell)
• Share ideas on better or more efficient ways to get the job done

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Required:

• Hands-on experience with residential new construction plumbing, able to run the work from day one
• Solid remodel plumbing experience
• An Indiana journeyman plumbing license, or 3rd/4th-year apprentice status with strong skills
• A good attitude and strong customer service skills
• The ability to take direction well while still thinking for yourself and bringing ideas to the table
• A team player who sees a job through, not someone who leaves at 5 with an hour left

Nice to Have (not required):

• Service and repair experience (fixture, water heater, and disposal repair and replacement)
• Living in or near Hamilton, IN
• A driveway or off-street parking for the company van
