Plumbing Journeyman

Our Plumbing Journeyman is an integral member of our Remodeling team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing and troubleshooting issues while adhering to safety regulations. The successful candidate will have experience with blueprints, building codes and in residential settings.

This position will work with primarily with the Plumbing Department to ensure safe operations and installations in our customers’ homes. At Cornerstone our goal is to Wow our customers, so meeting our customers’ needs is our goal and you will be an important part of making that happen. 

Plumbing Journeyman

· Installation of plumbing systems during renovations and new construction

· Maintenance and Repair; performing repairs as needed during installation

· Troubleshooting; diagnosing and resolving plumbing issues during installation such as leaks

· Safety; adhering to all safety codes and regulations during installation

· Blueprint Reading; understanding and interpreting to determine layout of plumbing systems

· Responsible for handling a variety of plumbing materials, including pipes, fittings and fixtures 

· Customer Interactions; always interacting professionally and respectfully with customers 

· Communicate; clearly and in a timely manner with co-workers regarding needed supplies

· Confirm job schedules and timelines with Project Manager(s)
 

Skills & Competencies

· Ability to multitask in a fast-paced team environment

· Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing in a professional manner

· Detail oriented with a commitment to accuracy and problem solving

· Must be dependable, reliable and punctual 

Requirements

· Valid Florida Journeyman Plumber’s License

· High School diploma or equivalent

· A valid Florida driver’s license

· Ability to lift heavy plumbing supplies; toilets, tubs, etc.

· Available to work Monday through Friday from 6am – 2:30pm

· A minimum of 2-3 years of plumbing experience in the same or related field
