Plumbing and HVAC Purchasing

Plumbing-HVAC Purchasing position in San Francisco Bay Area.

We are a large, growing Mechanical and Plumbing Contractor looking to hire a top-notch Purchasing person to grow with our organization.  This is a permanent position with a great salary and benefits package as well as career-growth opportunities.

Responsibilities:

• Communicate with our Project Managers to understand what materials need to be on the job-site and ensure on-time delivery 

• Provide material pricing information for our Estimating Department for change-orders on current jobs as well as pricing Estimates for upcoming projects we are bidding on.

• Communicate and build a strong relationship with our suppliers and vendors and get best pricing and terms for our plumbing and hvac materials orders

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience working in the hvac and plumbing industry 

• Advanced knowledge of plumbing and hvac materials, vendors and pricing 

• Strong computer skills working with Excel, Viewpoint and BlueBeam preferred

• Great communications and relationship building skills 

• Ability to multi-task and balance your time efficiently 

• Stable work-history
