specialize in diagnosing and treating conditions of the foot, ankle, and lower
extremities.

Key Responsibilities

Diagnose foot and ankle
disorders.
Provide treatments,
including orthotics and surgeries.
Educate patients on foot
care and injury prevention.

Requirements

Doctor of Podiatric Medicine
(DPM) degree.
Completion of residency in
podiatry.
State licensure as a
podiatrist.
Strong technical skills for
surgical procedures.
Good communication skills
for patient education.
