Power Equipment Parts and Sales Lead

Bomberger's Store - Full Time Power Equipment Parts and Sales Lead (Approximately 40 hours weekly)

Bomberger's Store, a trusted family-owned home improvement retailer in Lititz, is looking for a highly skilled Power Equipment Parts and Sales Associate to join their team. As a key member of our sales floor, you will have the opportunity to assist customers with a wide range of products, from power equipment to parts, and provide exceptional service that keeps them coming back.

This position assists customers with the purchase of lawn & garden equipment and assists with ordering of parts by performing the following duties: 

• Give leadership to Power Equipment employees when Power Equipment Sales Supervisor is not present, by directing staff and assigning work in the operational processes. 
• Act as a resource to the sales staff. Assist salespeople in the timely resolution of customer complaints, computer problems and system/procedural problems. 
• Assist in keeping the sales floor stocked and clean. Set up equipment and assist/train other employees in proper set up procedures. 
• Aid in the execution and fulfillment of acehardware.com orders and future online selling opportunities. 
• Reflect the store’s culture in leadership to fellow employees and customers. 
• Assist customers on the sales floor with the purchase of power equipment and looking up and selling parts. Actively listen and ask questions to evaluate customer’s needs and find the product or solutions to meet those needs. 
• Stay up to date on new products and vendor offerings. 
• Help customers apply and process financing offers through equipment vendors. 
• Help manage used equipment inventory by posting items on our website, Craigslist, etc. 
• Assist customers with the drop-off or pick-up of power equipment to be repaired by making service orders and updating information in customer’s file. 
• Assist customers with the drop-off or pick-up of items for sharpening. 
• Demonstrate regular and predictable attendance. 

Requirements:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 
• Availability for Full Time employment (approximately 40 hours weekly)
• Ability to work an evening and Saturday rotation
• Knowledge of Internet software and inventory systems
• Excellent customer service, problem solving and communication skills
