Power Platform Developer
Location: DHHQ, Falls Church, VA
Clearance Level: Active DoD Secret Clearance
Summary:
3 Reasons Consulting is seeking a Power Platform Developer to support mission-critical software engineering efforts. Candidates will contribute to the design, development, integration, and maintenance of secure, high-performing systems and applications. These roles offer an exciting opportunity to work in a collaborative environment that values innovation, technical excellence, and adherence to Department of Defense (DoD) standards.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Security Clearance: Must possess an active DoD Secret clearance (or higher).
- Experience: 3+ years of professional experience focusing on the Microsoft Power Platform.
- Power Apps Development: Proven experience designing, building, and deploying Model-driven apps.
- Analytics + Reporting: Strong background in creating Power BI reports and dashboards, including data modeling and DAX query development.
- Power Query: Experience building data transformation pipelines with Power Query (in Dataverse dataflows, Power BI, or Excel)
- Workflow Automation: Experience enhancing Power Apps using Power Automate workflows.
- Soft Skills & Communication: Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills, with the proven ability to translate complex business requirements into clear technical solutions and communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Cybersecurity Compliance: Active CompTIA Security+ certification.
- Dataverse Integration: Prior hands-on experience structuring, securing, and managing data schemas within Microsoft Dataverse.
- DevOps & ALM Interest: A strong interest in or familiarity with DevOps principles, specifically Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) and CI/CD pipelines for Power Platform deployment.
- Consulting Experience: Prior experience in an IT consulting or client-facing role, managing stakeholder expectations, leading requirements-gathering sessions, and delivering iterative solutions.
- Education & Certifications: Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience. Relevant Microsoft certifications are a major plus.
Salary Range: $90,000 - $115,000
