Our employees are not only part of history, they\u0027re making history.\n\n \nThe G2000 team at Northrop Grumman Mission Systems (NGMS) is looking for you to join our team as a Precision Electromechanical Assembler 2 (2nd Shift) based out of Salt Lake City, UT.\n\nWhat You\u2019ll get to Do:\n\n * Perform wiring and component installation and hand soldering, disassembling, modifying, reworking or reassembling units using various hand and pneumatic tools.\n\n * May perform mechanical assembly, cable assembly, component forming and mounting, high reliability assembly.\n\n * Expected to work with various chemicals and solvents for long periods.\n\n * Complete part marking and simple continuity checks on work in process and completed units.\n\n * Work from verbal or written instructions that provide detailed methods and sequence of assembly operations in addition to using wiring diagrams and assembly drawings.\n\n\n\n\nBasic Qualifications:\n\n * High School diploma or equivalent and 2 years additional education and/or related experience.\n\n * Demonstrated attention to detail with a proven track record of producing error\u2011free work in fast\u2011paced environments. \n\n * Experience handling delicate parts using manual dexterity and a steady hand.\n\n * Must possess basic, verbal and written communication skills for minimal interaction with others.\n\n * Ability to obtain J-STD-001 certification.\n\n * Ability to work standard 2nd shift hours (3PM - 12:30AM).\n\n * US Citizenship.\n\n\n\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\n * Knowledge of techniques, approaches, guidelines, policies and procedures in the job area.\n\n * Must be able to perform assembly techniques in order to make modifications, reworks and assemblies.\n\n * J-STD-001 solder certification or equivalent soldering skills.\n\n * Ability to perform basic problem solving techniques which are fully defined and available through the supervisor, coworkers and written materials.\n\n\n\n\nWhat We Can Offer You: \nNorthrop Grumman provides a comprehensive benefits package and a work environment which encourages your growth and supports the mutual success of our people and our company. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
