Pre-Make Ready

Position: Pre-Make Ready

Shift: 8hr Shift | Rotating Days & Nights (Every 2 Weeks)

Compensation: Starting at $18.76 per hour , $21.10 per hour after 90 day probation period.

Sign On Bonus: $1,000.00 after 90 days

Reporting to the Process Leader this position is responsible for performing all pre-press functions as related to cylinders and all parts needed to changeover presses in a safe and efficient manner.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Following all Plant and Division Safety rules, maintain an organized and clean work area, and maintain all company health and housekeeping GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) standards.

• Perform all functions in accordance with specified safety procedures and designated PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).

• Inspect cylinders for damage and flaws, consistently set up cylinders with correct rewind, responsible for the overall quality of completed set-ups.

• Reading and interpreting all order specifications and condition sheets as related to set-up.

• Assisting with press changeovers, operate forklift as required and perform other duties assigned or as the situation dictates.

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required. 

• Can follow directions and complete assignments in a fast-paced environment. 

• Have experience in repacking bearings, operate Renzman and PRI, demonstrates proper handling of hazardous waste and follows all associated documentation requirements.

• Must have the ability to maintain logs/records in a legible, accurate and timely manner. 

• Must demonstrate desire, ability, and initiative to advance in department progression.  Must demonstrate willingness to be a team player. 

• Must have or be willing to obtain certification to operate forklift.
