Prep Cook

BallenIsles Country Club in Palm Beach Gardens, FL is seeking a Full-Time Prep Cook to join our culinary team! The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, is detail-oriented, and is committed to preparing high-quality food while providing an exceptional dining experience for our members and guests.

Position Summary
The Prep Cook provides culinary support to the kitchen by preparing ingredients and assisting with the production and presentation of menu items. This role is responsible for setting up workstations, preparing ingredients according to recipes, and ensuring the kitchen operates efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Prep Cook in a high-volume kitchen preferred.


• Knowledge of kitchen health and safety regulations.


• Ability to safely operate knives, cutting tools, and other kitchen equipment.


• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.


• Ability to remain positive and work well under pressure.


• Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities 

• Prepare ingredients according to recipes and chef instructions.


• Set up and stock workstations with all necessary supplies.


• Assist in preparing and cooking menu items.


• Ensure all food products are properly prepared before cooking.


• Maintain proper food storage and holding temperatures in accordance with Department of Health (DOH) regulations.


• Keep workstations clean, organized, and sanitized throughout each shift.


• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and company policies.

Compensation
$17.00–$19.00 per hour, based on experience.
