What You’ll Do:

As an AVO TACO Prep Cook, you’ll help set the kitchen up for success by preparing fresh ingredients and keeping the kitchen organized and running smoothly. You’ll:

• Prep with purpose! Wash, chop, slice, mix, and prepare ingredients according to recipes and company standards.
• Keep it fresh! Ensure all food is properly labeled, stored, rotated, and maintained for freshness and quality.
• Stay organized! Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary prep area while following food safety and sanitation standards.
• Support the team! Assist cooks and kitchen teammates with prep needs throughout the shift.
• Work efficiently! Complete prep lists, stock stations, and help keep the kitchen prepared for busy service periods.
• Take pride in consistency! Follow recipes and portioning guidelines to ensure every guest gets the same great experience.
• Be a team player! Jump in where needed and help create a positive kitchen environment.

• Skills & Knowledge: A passion for food, a strong work ethic, and basic culinary knowledge.

• Physical Stamina: Comfort performing physical tasks like bending, standing, walking, and lifting up to 25 lbs during shifts.
