Preschool Aftercare

BCS is looking for preschool aftercare personnel who are enthusiastic, creative, adaptable, dependable, and possesses an excellent work ethic.  Individual will supervise students during aftercare, providing a fun and safe environment for them. Applicants must be able to communicate clearly and instill positive behavior management techniques. Hours will be from 2:30p.m. through 5:30p.m. with flexibility to work until 6:00p.m. if needed.

There will be a 45 hour DCF course personnel will need to complete within the first 90 days of employment. Also, CPR and first aid certification are a plus.

This individual will report to the Preschool Aftercare Supervisor and the Preschool Director. The following are expectations for the aftercare position:

- At all times supervise students under your care.

- Maintain safety for the students and staff at all times.

- Use appropriate strategies to assist children with inappropriate behavior.

- When accidents/injuries occur, complete an accident/incident report.

- Any other duties assigned by the Aftercare Supervisor or BCS Administration.
