As a Child Care Teacher, you'll play a vital role in fostering children's social-emotional, cognitive, and physical development through engaging, developmentally appropriate learning experiences. You'll join a collaborative team of professionals dedicated to creating safe, inclusive, and enriching environments where children can thrive. Your work will have a direct impact on the lives of children and families while providing opportunities for professional growth and development.

Requirements & Responsibilities



  • Child Development Associate (CDA), Associate's Degree, Bachelor's Degree, or other education in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Teaching, or a related field.

  • Current First Aid, Adult/Child/Infant CPR, and AED certification required (or ability to obtain). Must pass required background checks, TB test, and obtain a Food Handler Permit.

  • One to two years of experience working with children ages birth to six years required.

  • Create and maintain a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment.

  • Plan and implement engaging activities that support children's social-emotional, cognitive, and physical development.

  • Adapt learning experiences to meet the individual needs of each child and encourage positive social interactions.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and child-safe classroom while ensuring active supervision at all times.

  • Collaborate with families and team members to support child development and maintain effective communication.


Schedule



  • Full-time position with 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday.

  • Start and end times may vary based on classroom needs and program requirements.

  • Year-round program operating on a 247-day calendar.

  • Flexibility to support classroom coverage and changing program needs is expected.
