Overview:

Ongoing Hiring-

We are seeking experienced Digital/Hybrid Press Operator to join our Press Department. This position is responsible for operating a Hybrid Printing Press.

Shifts Available : 2nd shift (2pm-10pm) & 3rd Shift (10pm-6am)

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Sets up and operates press to print pressure sensitive labels and provides samples to QA. 

• Reads and interprets work order and job specifications.

• Verifies proper material, ink, tooling, plates and press settings and ensure compliance to color standards prior to production.  

• Minimizes downtime and reduces waste through proper set up and operation of press. 

• Maintains good housekeeping, follows GMPs and follows safe operating procedures. 

• Troubleshoots and corrects production problems and updates tech cards.

• Coordinates press changeovers and may assist in training as needed.

• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Good mechanical skills and mathematical aptitude.

• Ability to read and interpret technical data.

• Basic experience with hand tools.

• Previous printing experience required. 

• Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs. and be able to bend, reach, climb, push, pull and stand for long periods.

• Must be punctual, self-motivated and able to work independently. 

• Must be open to work overtime and weekends as needed. 

• For third shift positions, candidates should be comfortable working overnight hours.

Education and/or Experience:

High School Diploma or GED (preferred)

Recent work experience as a Press Operator (Required)
