Pricing Analyst

Responsibilities:

• Be the main point for our internal stakeholders regarding TL,  Flatbed, Temperature Control & intermodal pricing inquiries.


• Prepare, analyze, and deliver pricing requests by conducting historical pricing analysis, RFP’s, RFI’s and quote proposals.


• Auto-rate collaboration with our sales and operations branch leaders, customer contracting, and revenue accounting to ensure contract rates, FSC, and accessorials are being utilized in our TMS

Qualifications:

• 3-7 years of Pricing/Carrier procurement experience in the transportation industry.


• College degree preferred.Minimum 3 years of Truckload pricing experience on both the spot market basis as well as contract rates.  Must be proficient with truckload pricing and capacity tools such as DAT.com, Truckstop.com,


• Ability to handle and process large data sets using Microsoft Excel including various formulas.  Must have deep knowledge on the truckload supply and demand market for all equipment types including Dry Van, Temperature Controlled, and Flatbed.


• Excellent communication skills, with experience working with internal and external customers.


• Experience with or the desire to learn software applications like MS Excel/Access, Tableau, etc..
