Our client, a highly respected A-rated Property & Casualty insurance carrier, is seeking a Pricing Analyst to join its growing actuarial team. Key Responsibilities
Develop, enhance, and maintain actuarial pricing models, reporting tools, and analytical processes that support commercial insurance pricing initiatives.
Perform pricing, profitability, and rate adequacy analyses to support underwriting strategy and business growth.
Utilize programming and data analysis skills to improve pricing workflows, automate reporting, and increase operational efficiencies.
Collaborate with underwriting, product management, technology, and actuarial teams to implement pricing methodologies and rating enhancements.
Analyze portfolio performance, pricing trends, and underwriting results to identify opportunities for improved profitability.
Prepare reports and present analytical findings to business leaders in a clear and meaningful manner.
Assist with the development and maintenance of actuarial models while contributing to ongoing process improvements and innovation.
Qualifications / Requirements
3+ years of Property & Casualty pricing actuarial experience.
Successful completion of multiple Casualty Actuarial Society (CAS) examinations is preferred.
Strong technical aptitude with advanced proficiency in Python, SQL, Excel, and other programming or data analysis tools.
Demonstrated ability to think critically, solve complex analytical problems, and work independently with minimal supervision.
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Salary & Benefits
Competitive annual base salary of $125,000 - $145,000, based on experience, plus annual incentive compensation opportunity
