WANDER STAFFING seeks to add Two (2) Primary Care Physicians to our Team ASAP! These positions are located at the Fayetteville VA Medical Center, 7300 Raeford Road, Fayetteville, NC 28304.

Compensation:

$150-$160/hour depending on experience

Schedule:

M-F 8:00 am – 4:30 pm with a 30-minute lunch
No after-hours or on-call coverage

Professional Requirements:

All Contract personnel shall be Board Certified/Board Eligible Family Practice in accordance with ACC Standards for Family Practice.
Must have a current license to practice medicine in any State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States or the District of Columbia. All licenses held by the key personnel working on this contract shall be full and unrestricted.
Have current ACLS and BLS
Contractor shall provide proof of current vaccines:
- Negative Tuberculosis Skin Test (TST) or interferon-gamma release assays (IGRA) performed in the last 12 months.
- MMR
- Varicella
- Pertussis
- Hep B
- Covid
- Flu
Have current NPI
Have current DEA certification

PRIMARY CARE PHYSICIAN CORE DUTIES:

Direct Patient Care: estimated 95% of the time involved in direct patient care.
Physicians shall be responsible for clinic appointments and follow-up of labs/imaging/procedures ordered during these appointments, interpretation, phone call consultation from hospitalists and intensivists on inpatients, and availability for a case review with nurse practitioners on service.
Physicians are responsible for providing Family Practice and interventional Family Practice consultative services for:
- Assessment, diagnostic work-up, and clinic intervention
- Comprehensive patient assessment, health history, physical examination, and patient education to Veterans in the Primary Care team setting, outpatient
- Order and evaluate diagnostic tests as appropriate, recommend treatment and/or referral
- Record/document health appraisal information, clinical assessments, treatment decisions, plan of care, ongoing management and therapeutic outcomes, order medications, diagnostic test, and referral consultations where needed for every patient encounter; recording will be accomplished using the electronic comprehensive patient record system (CPRS) and will be completed on the day of the encounter.
