Job Description - Primary Care Physician

Where You’ll Work

CommonSpirit Primary Care Broadmoor is conveniently located near the intersection of Lake Avenue and Venetucci Boulevard in Colorado Springs. Our facility brings you the convenience of high-value, affordable care right in your backyard and under one roof.

Every family needs a home. Our primary care physicians and mid-level medical providers strive to provide a medical home for our patients — a home where health care providers know their patients and treat them with the respect and care of a loved one. In an increasingly complex system of health care, we aim to simplify the process by treating the whole person and not just a specific disease process or body system.

As our Primary Care Physician, you will help individuals and families get high-value, top quality, accessible care so they can live healthier lives and thrive in their communities.

Every day you will provide comprehensive primary care services to a diverse patient population. You will be expected to diagnose and treat acute conditions, manage chronic diseases, perform wellness exams, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team to deliver whole-person care.

To be successful in this role, you must be passionate about delivering compassionate, patient-centered care and committed to serving your community.

  • Provide comprehensive primary care services to a diverse patient population.
  • Diagnose and treat acute conditions, including illnesses and minor injuries (e.g., flu, strep throat).
  • Perform annual physicals, wellness exams, and preventive health screenings.
  • Administer immunizations and promote preventive care strategies.
  • Manage and treat chronic conditions such as diabetes, arthritis, and cardiovascular disease.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team to ensure coordinated, high-quality patient care.
