Job Description:

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a subject matter expert to join our Scheduling & Material Planning Center of Excellence in our Canoga Park, California facility. Enjoy work/life balance at our Canoga Park, CA site.  At this facility, we design & manufacture rocket engines and unique power systems that support space exploration & the defense of our nation. In this role, you will be the process lead for Material Planning and related groups use of the Oracle ERP system. As part of this role you will lead training and coaching of Material planning to upgrade the overall skill level.

Essential Functions:

• 60% - Assist users with efficient daily use of Oracle MRP and the MES systems, lead and implement MRP process improvements, help the team transition to the higher production rates that are coming. Train a candidate to be the long term MRP SME.


• 25% - Develop and implement training to guide Material Planners, Manufacturing Engineering and Product Teams with the utilization of the Windchill Pending MBOM process. Help these teams realize the benefits of using this process.


• 15% Lead the implementation of the Oracle MRP upgrade. Represent SMP during the Delmia MES upgrade and potential replacement.


• Up to 20% travel to the Canoga Park, CA site.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum 6 years prior MRP experience. Graduate Degree with a minimum of 4 years of prior MRP experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior MRP experience.

Preferred Additional Skills:

• Familiarity with L3 Harris LA Site Programs, Manufacturing processes.


• Intermediate MS Excel skill level.


• Knowledge and experience with Oracle ERP and Delmia MES systems, transactions and extracting data for analysis.

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in Colorado State, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Minnesota, Ohio, Virginia, Vermont and New York State is $138,000 - $256,000. For California, Seattle, Washington D.C., Maryland Greater Washington D.C. area, the city of Denver, Massachusetts, Washington State, New Jersey, and New York City, the salary range for this role is $158,500- $294,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
