Principal Electrical (ICD) Hardware Engineer

Cardialen, Inc. is an early-stage medical device company dedicated to advancing implantable cardioversion and defibrillation using low energy for use as a first-line therapy to restore normal heart rhythm and may reduce the potential for high-energy defibrillation shocks.

Looking for Principal Electrical Hardware Engineer to help conceptualize integration of novel Multipulse Therapy ( MPT) into commercially available Implantable Defibrillators & Cardiac Resynchronization devices. Job also entails working with cross-functional team of engineers, scientists & clinicians to review data from ongoing clinical trials to make enhancements to external hardware platform being used in clinical trial. Generate & file IP in this very novel area of technology development. Candidate should have passion for advancing technologies to enhance patient care.

·         8+ yrs. experience working on designing Implantable Defibrillator & Cardiac Resynchronization Devices.

·         BS or MS in Electrical Engineering with MS preferred C. Experience in designing Sensing, Detection & Therapy Deliver circuits at board/system level.

·         Proficient in analyzing heart rhythms.
