The future of HBM is fast\u2011moving and technically demanding, and we enjoy being at the innovative.\n\nIn this role, you will serve as a Reliability Architect and key individual contributor shaping reliability strategy for Micron\u2019s latest HBM products. You will translate customer expectations, field data, and historical findings into practical qualification plans that protect product quality while enabling rapid innovation. Your technical leadership will influence reliability decisions from process development through manufacturing and customer deployment.\n\nResponsibilities:\n\n * Act as the reliability architect for next\u2011generation HBM products, anticipating and mitigating future reliability risks\n\n * Perform pathfinding work to understand potential failure mechanisms in advanced process nodes and how they could affect next generation products\n\n * Define and own customer\u2011informed reliability qualification plans in partnership with Global Quality\n\n * Drive intrinsic and extrinsic reliability improvements through optimized test flows and stress strategies, including RMA findings from products in production\n\n * Lead resolution of qualification reliability issues through multi-functional root cause analysis\n\n * Provide data\u2011driven reliability guidance to fab and assembly teams to improve yield, quality, and cost\n\n\n\n\nMinimum Qualifications:\n\n * Bachelor\u2019s or Master\u2019s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field\n\n * 8+ years of experience in the semiconductor industry\n\n * Deep expertise in semiconductor reliability physics and intrinsic/extrinsic failure mechanisms\n\n * Experience owning product qualification plans for advanced memory or logic devices\n\n * Strong data analysis, problem\u2011solving, and technical communication skills\n\n\n\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\n * Experience engaging directly with customers on reliability and application requirements\n\n * Hands\u2011on expertise with EFA, PFA, and circuit\u2011level root cause analysis\n\n * Proficiency with statistical analysis and scripting tools such as Python or JMP\n\n * Experience influencing manufacturing test flows and process change decisions\n\n * Willingness to travel domestically and internationally to Micron sites\n\n\n\n\nJob Profile(s):\n\nProduct Development Engineer 5 - Product Development MTS\n\nRelocation Level: TBD\n\nBefore Getting Started \nPlease review Micron\u2019s Internal Job Application Policy on your regional PeopleNow Career Opportunities page before searching and applying for jobs.
