This position will be located in Roy, UT and will support the Sentinel program.\n\nThis role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.\n\nWhat You\u2019ll Get To Do: \n\n * Use your strong technical background associated with energetics safety/weapons system components, and DoD Contractor Safety Requirements (DoDM 4145.26/DESSR 6055.09) to review/evaluate system effectiveness, assess regulatory compliance across the breadth of energetic products and processes within NGC Sentinel and its supply base.\n\n * Resolve customer compliance concerns and present progress on compliance audits and corrective actions\n\n * Manage the Sentinel Energetics Safety Compliance Program across the Sentinel supply base by influence across all departments to develop, plan, schedule, complete, analyze, track, and follow-up on process assessments, both independently and with groups\n\n * Perform supplier compliance assessments to ensure contract safety compliance and manage risk.\n\n * Performs or assures quality, risk management, safety, reliability and maintainability of Sentinel achievements.\n\n\n\n\nAs a full-time employee of Northrop Grumman Defense Systems, you are eligible for our robust benefits package including:\n\n * Medical, Dental \u0026 Vision coverage\n\n * 401k\n\n * Educational Assistance\n\n * Life Insurance\n\n * Employee Assistance Programs \u0026 Work/Life Solutions\n\n * Paid Time Off\n\n * Health \u0026 Wellness Resources\n\n * Employee Discounts\n\n\n\n\nThis position\u2019s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.\n\nBasic Qualifications:\n\nYou\u0027ll bring these qualifications\n\n * Principal Mission Assurance Engineer (T03): Bachelors in Science degree and 5 years of related experience; OR a Masters with 3 years of experience; OR a PhD with 1 year of experience.\n\n * Sr Principal Mission Assurance Engineer (T04): Bachelors in Science degree and 8 years of related experience; OR a Masters with 6 years of experience; OR a PhD with 4 years of experience\n\n * Ability to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with an ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business need\n\n * Experience with safety and quality management systems to support program processes, supplier audits, and/or improvements\n\n\n\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\n * Experience and/or specialized training in DoDM 4145.26, Contractor\u0027s Safety Manual for Ammunition \u0026 Explosive\n\n * Experience and/or specialized training in DoD Explosives Site Planning\n\n * Experience in regulatory compliance, safety, hazard analysis, testing, and processing\n\n * Experience managing a supplier and auditing that supplier\n\n * Demonstrated ability prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines with attention to detail\n\n * Reviews of drawings, contracts, Statement of work, and requirements traceability document.\n\n * Experience in processing, monitoring, data collection, analysis, and metric reporting for overall program and segments\n\n * Experience with manufacturing, quality controls, inspection and/or non-conformance controls\n\n * Proven ability to effectively communicate and build relationships with technical and non-technical personnel\n\n\n\n\nPrimary Level Salary Range: $98,400.00 - $147,600.00\n\nSecondary Level Salary Range: $122,800.00 - $184,200.00\n\nThe above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate\u0027s experience, education, skills and current market conditions.\n\nDepending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
