Explore your future and launch your career today.\n\nNorthrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Principal/Sr. Principal Mission Assurance Engineer. This position will be located in either Colorado Springs, CO or Roy, UT and will support the Sentinel (GBSD) program. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.\n\nWhat You\u2019ll Get To Do:\n\n\u2022 Support Mission Assurance (MA) functions to ensure mission success\n\n\u2022 Perform technical reviews of all Sentinel drawings, SOW\u2019s, and Requirements documents as required.\n\n\u2022 Perform or assure quality, risk management, safety, reliability and maintainability of Sentinel tasking.\n\n\u2022 Provide MA leadership and oversight to critical program reviews including design reviews, test readiness reviews, certifications and sell offs.\n\n\u2022 Identify MA and Quality resource requirements to ensure mission success.\n\n\u2022 Assist the SEIT Segment lead with all Sentinel Mission Assurance /Program Management requirements.\n\n\u2022 Develop, implement and maintain the Sentinel Program Quality Plan.\n\n\u2022 Lead preparation and execution of Program Preventive and Corrective Action Board (PCAB). Develop and maintain Segment level Program Metrics.\n\n\u2022 Support preparation of Program Management Review packages.\n\n\u2022 Support Supplier Mission Assurance with technical expertise and oversight of suppliers\n\n\u2022 Provide guidance and expertise to supporting professional development of MA \u0026 QA engineers.\n\n\u2022 Performance management\n\nBasic Qualifications:\n\nBasic Qualification for a Principal Mission Assurance Engineer (T03):\n\n\u2022 Bachelor\u0027s degree in science and 5 years experience OR a Master\u0027s Degree in science and 3 years experience OR a PhD and 1 year experience.\n\nBasic Qualifications for a Sr. Principal Mission Assurance Engineer (T04):\n\n\u2022 Bachelor\u0027s degree in science and 8 years experience OR a Master\u0027s Degree in science and 6 years experience OR a PhD and 4 years experience.\n\n\u2022 Experience with Nuclear Surety, Cybersecurity, or System Security.\n\n\u2022 Experience in Aerospace/Missile Systems/Sub-Systems design, development, test, or sustainment.\n\n\u2022 Must have an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with an ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business need.\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\n\u2022 Experience quality management systems to support program processes, audits, and improvement (AS9100D/ISO 9001/Military Quality Assurance)\n\n\u2022 Experience with Systems Engineering\n\n\u2022 Experience with Configuration Management/Data Management\n\n\u2022 Experience with Root Cause Corrective Actions (RCCA)\n\n\u2022 Experience in process monitoring, data collection, analysis, and metrics reporting for overall program and segments\n\n\u2022 Experience with program PCAB and driving process improvements\n\n\u2022 An active U.S. Government DoD Top Secret security clearance\n\nPrimary Level Salary Range: $103,600.00 - $193,900.00\n\nSecondary Level Salary Range: $98,400.00 - $184,200.00\n\nThe above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate\u0027s experience, education, skills and current market conditions.\n\nDepending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.\n\nThe application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
