NOW HIRING: PRIVATE DUTY PEDIATRIC LPN

❤️ Interim HealthCare of Augusta is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide Private Duty Nursing care for a pediatric patient.

We are looking for a compassionate, dependable, and clinically skilled nurse who is confident caring for medically complex pediatric patients in the home setting.

Pediatric Home Care

❤️ REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

Candidates should have pediatric skilled nursing experience and be comfortable providing care involving:

• G-Tube / GJ-Tube / NG-Tube care and feedings
• Tracheostomy care and management
• Ventilator care and monitoring
• Airway management and suctioning
• Medication administration
• Monitoring vital signs and changes in condition
• Following physician orders and the established plan of care
• Recognizing and responding appropriately to changes or emergencies

❤️ RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide one-on-one skilled nursing care to a pediatric patient in the home
• Monitor the patient’s respiratory and overall clinical status
• Perform tracheostomy care, suctioning, and airway management
• Monitor and manage ventilator equipment according to the plan of care
• Provide G-Tube, GJ-Tube, and/or NG-Tube care and feedings
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered
• Maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation
• Communicate changes in condition with the family, physician, and clinical team
• Follow infection-control and patient-safety procedures
• Provide compassionate support and education to the patient and family

❤️ QUALIFICATIONS

• Current and unrestricted LPN license
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Pediatric nursing experience required
• Skilled nursing experience with G/GJ/NG tubes, tracheostomies, and ventilators
• Strong assessment and critical-thinking skills
• Ability to recognize and respond to changes in a pediatric patient’s condition
• Dependable, attentive, and comfortable working independently
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Reliable transportation
