Position: Private Equity Associate – Infrastructure (US/UK)
Type: Contract
Compensation: $100–$120/hour
Location: Remote
Commitment: 20–25 hours/week

Role Responsibilities

• Build a working financial model of an assigned infrastructure transaction from a synthetic deal document pack.
• Deliver an editable Excel workbook with live formulas, source references, and stated assumptions.
• Peer-review two anonymized models from other contractors against a fixed set of criteria. Provide a short written rationale for each and a completed review scorecard.
• Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines while improving model accuracy and depth.

Qualifications

Must-Have

• 2–4 years total experience: ~2 years investment banking (infrastructure, power & utilities, or real estate / TMT M&A) followed by 1–2 years in infrastructure private equity.
• Currently or recently an Associate at an infrastructure-focused PE fund, or the infrastructure arm of a multi-strategy manager.
• Exposure to digital infrastructure — data centres, fibre, or towers.
• Able to build a financial model from source documents, without a template.
• Fluent English.
