Process and Technology Engineer - (E3)

Key Responsibilities:\n\nDesign, collect data, analyze and compile reports on a variety of difficult process engineering experiments, within safety guidelines\n\nPerform hardware characterization on a variety of difficult systems, within safety guidelines\n\nTroubleshoot a variety of complex problems, perform Root Cause Analysis and resolve a variety of difficult process engineering issues\n\nGenerate internal and external documentation for products, presentations and technical reports\n\nInteract with customers to resolve a variety of difficult process engineering issues/problems with limited supervision\n\nMeasure film properties and interpret data\n\nIdentify, select and work with vendors and suppliers with limited supervision\n\nImplement new technology, products and analytical instrumentation\n\nServe as a resource for junior colleagues; lead project teams, as needed\n\nThis role is ideal for a highly motivated engineer who thrives under challenge, takes strong ownership, and is willing to work night shift production and to provide technical support to customers in multiple global regions (Asia, Europe, U.S.).\n\nRequired Qualifications:\n\n * Master\u2019s or PhD degree in Materials Science and Engineering or related field.\n\n * Strong understanding of material properties, phase transformations, and microstructure-performance relationships.\n\n * Familiarity with failure analysis techniques (e.g., SEM, EDS, XRD).\n\n * Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.\n\n * Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic production environment.\n\n\n\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\n * 3+ years of experience in ceramic manufacturing, process engineering or R\u0026D.\n\n * Experience with CVD or other thin film deposition techniques (e.g., PVD, ALD, PECVD).\n\n * Experience with statistical process control (SPC), Six Sigma, or Lean Manufacturing principles.\n\n * Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g. JMP, Excel, Minitab, Python).\n\n * Experience supporting customers in high-tech industries and capable to influence cross-functional teams and lead projects under tight deadlines.\n\n\n\n\n## Qualifications\n\n### Education:\n\nBachelor\u0027s Degree\n\n### Skills\n\n### Certifications:\n\n### Languages:\n\n### Years of Experience:\n\n4 - 7 Years\n\n### Work Experience:\n\n## Additional Information\n\n### \n\n### Shift:\n\n10-Day 8-Hr (United States of America)\n\n### \n\n### Travel:\n\nYes, 10% of the Time\n\n### \n\n### Relocation Eligible:\n\nYes\n\n### Referral Payment Plan:\n\nEmployee Referral (Standard)\n\nU.S. Salary Range:\n\n$108,000.00 - $148,500.00\n\nThe salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members.
