The candidate must be able to utilize inspection equipment and procedures to determine pass/fail evaluations. The position also includes ensuring the inspection equipment is properly maintained and calibrated and environmental conditions are adequate for inspection processes including lighting, cleanliness, and availability of documentation and tools. The ideal candidate will support the maintenance, calibration, and certification of metrology equipment and instruments and ensure compliance.\n\nBasic Qualifications for the PROCESS ASSESSOR:\n\n * High School diploma or equivalent with 4 years of inspection or manufacturing experience.\n\n * Experience using calibrated measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, optical comparator).\n\n * Experience with performing visual, in-process and final dimensional inspections on tightly tolerance piece parts, subassemblies, and final assembly. \n\n * Experience performing inspection of electrical and mechanical components or assemblies.\n\n * Experience inspecting electrical harnesses including crimping and/or soldering (e.g. IPC-A-620, IPC-A-610, etc...).\n\n * Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.\n\n * US Citizenship required.\n\n\n\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\n * Experience with SAP, MES and MPLM.\n\n * Experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD\u0026T).\n\n * IPC-J-STD-001 certified or experience.\n\n * Active Secret Clearance.\n\n * IPC-A-610, IPC-A-620 Certified\n\n\n\n\n#MPR\n\nPrimary Level Salary Range: $52,094.00 - $125,390.00\n\nThe above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate\u0027s experience, education, skills and current market conditions.\n\nDepending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
