  • Performing Defects per Unit (DpU) and external demerit analysis to lead effective quality improvement initiatives

  • Supporting decision-making for handovers (GO/NOGO) and exercising veto rights when necessary

  • Stopping production when necessary for safety or quality concerns

  • Participating in criticality matrix analysis and contributing to Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA)

  • Leading Failure Analysis Reports (FAR) and participating in Failure Mode Reviews (FMR) and Supplier Material Reviews (SMR)

  • Implementing and regularly updating Quality Control Plans during pre-serial and serial manufacturing activities

  • Ensuring the availability and compliance of Car History Books before product shipping

  • Qualifying manufacturing teams for self-inspection and managing workstation inspection processes

  • Performing workstation audits and participating in product inspections when required

All about you

We value passion and attitude over experience. That’s why we don’t expect you to have every single skill. Instead, we’ve listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role:

  • Master’s degree in engineering (electromechanical, electrical, material, mechanical) or equivalent for Engineers; Associate degree for Technicians

  • Ability to read technical drawings and specifications, with familiarity in using test equipment

  • Special Process Qualification at Level 2 (Quality Academy criteria)

  • Rigor, strong communication skills, and a collaborative mindset

  • Technical expertise in railway products (desirable)

  • Experience in project management or auditing (desirable)

  • International mindset and fluency in English

  • Ability to work in a matrix organization and manage pressure effectively

  • Knowledge of quality standards like ISO 9001, IRIS, or CMMI

Things you’ll enjoy Join us on a life-long transformative journey – the rail industry is here to stay, so you can grow and develop new skills and experiences throughout your career. You’ll also:

  • Enjoy stability, challenges, and a long-term career free from monotonous routines

  • Work with cutting-edge standards for rail signalling and industrial quality

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and supportive colleagues

  • Contribute to innovative projects that make a tangible impact

  • Steer your career in whatever direction you choose across functions and countries

  • Benefit from our investment in your development, through award-winning learning programs

  • Progress towards leadership or expert roles in industrial quality management

  • Enjoy a fair and dynamic reward package that recognises your performance and potential, plus comprehensive and competitive social coverage (life, medical, pension)
