We drive performance, productivity, safety, and quality of customers installed base performance and deliver service and lifecycle solutions for their most critical equipment and processes.\n\n \n\n## The impact you\u2019ll make\n\nAs a Global Product Support Engineer at Lam, you\u0027re the backbone of technical support for field engineers, technicians, and product support personnel. Your expertise is crucial in diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, and debugging complex semiconductor equipment. Your swift action in responding to situations is critical in resolving issues and ensuring satisfaction of Lam\u2019s valued customers.\n\n## What you\u2019ll do\n\nJob Responsibilities\n\n * Process/Productivity engineer who will provide technical support to field process engineers, and product support personnel that are troubleshooting Etch chambers for gaps in process capability, chamber matching, defect, and yield failure issues\n * Reports process related enhancement, continuous design improvements to engineering group\n * Supports first in Fab customers with process qualification\n * Provides training Field Service engineers and provides BKM documents\n * Travel up to 15%\n\n\n\nOther Job Responsibilities\n\nLeadership\n\n * Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience and may lead specific projects\n * Works with cross-functional teams to get information and results needed to deliver results\n\n\n\nCustomer Relations\n\n * Professionally represents the company to the customer. Utilize knowledge of company\u2019s product lines and services to keep existing/ potential customers informed when new/ additional needs are identified\n * Actively addresses any potential issues at the customer site and provide alternative solutions.\n\n\n\nDrive implementation of new solutions for the customer\n\n## Who we\u2019re looking for\n\n * Minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor\u2019s degree; or 6 years and a Master\u2019s degree; or a PhD with 3 years experience; or equivalent experience.\n * Excellent organizational skills and demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and ability to react to shifting priorities to meet business needs and deadlines\n * Good communication skills both written and verbal\n * Excellent people skills with demonstrated ability to work effectively and efficiently with diverse teams, customers, internal and external partners\n\n\n\n## Preferred qualifications\n\n * Etch process engineering experience\n * Experience with Lam \u2018s Etch products\n * Semiconductor fab experience is required\n * Collaboration/ Matrix environment\n\n\n\n## Our commitment\n\n \n\nWe believe it is important for every person to feel valued, included, and empowered to achieve their full potential. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories \u2013 On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. \u2018On-site Flex\u2019 you\u2019ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. \u2018Virtual Flex\u2019 you\u2019ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.\n\nSalary\n\nCA San Francisco Bay Area Salary Range for this position: $125,000.00 - $270,000.00.\n\nThe above salary range for this position is relevant to applicants that reside or work onsite in the California, San Francisco Bay Area only. Salary offers will depend on factors that include the location you work from, your level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role.
