Process Technician

onsemi’s semiconductor fabrication facility in Syracuse, NY is looking for a Process Technician to join the team.  Our technology enables the next generation of power conversion, accelerating the transition to high efficiency, high power conversion solutions and inspiring new power system architectures.

• Process semiconductor wafers on tools in clean room fab environment e.g. photolithography, MOCVD, etch, thin films etc.


• Perform visual quality inspections and measurement data entry.


• Follow all procedural and safety specifications.


• Physically move wafers through the clean room.

• Education - High school diploma or higher.


• 3+ years experience in a similar role at a semiconducturing manufacturing facility.


• Ability to follow written procedures and verbal directions.


• Attention to detail and well organized.

onsemi is excited to share the base salary range for this position is $21.20-$36.92/hr. range exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses. The final pay rate for the successful candidate will depend on geographic location, skills, education, experience, and/or consideration of internal equity of our current team members.
