Directs manufacturing personnel on production lines to ensure the correct products are being built efficiently and identifies areas of improvement using lean tools. Sustains a positive work environment in alignment with the company\u0027s core values. \n\nWork Mode\n\nAt Boston Scientific, we value collaboration and synergy. This role follows an onsite work model, requiring employees to be in our local office five days per week\n\nRelocation\n\nRelocation assistance is not available for this position at this time.\n\nVISA\n\nBoston Scientific will not offer sponsorship or take over sponsorship of an employment VISA for this position at this time.\n\nYour responsibilities will include:\n\n * Understands safety SQDC daily/monthly goals, submits safety improvement ideas\n * Encourages and supports a safety and quality first culture \u2013 ensures manufacturing personnel are following SOPs\n * Partners with supervisor or peers to set VSP staffing plans and communicates downtimes to ensure a smooth flow of production\n * Monitors daily performance, escalates equipment and component downtimes in a timely manner\n * Executes the training plan set by the production supervisor\n * Leads by example, submitting continuous improvement ideas and encourages team members to do the same \n * Participates in kaizen activities, aware of lean tools\n * Able to use various forms of communication (in-person, Microsoft Teams, email)\n * Effectively onboards new team members\n * Sustains and leads by example with BSC\u2019s Core Values \u0026 Behaviors to enable a positive work culture\n\n\n\nRequired qualifications:\n\n * 1 year of manufacturing experience with a High School Diploma or an equivalent combination of education/work experience \n\n\n\nPreferred qualifications:\n\n * Experience in a regulated environment and/or Medical device industry\n\n\n\nRequisition ID: 628410\n\nMinimum Salary: $[[cust_salaryMin]]\n\nMaximum Salary: $[[cust_salaryMax]]\n\nThe anticipated compensation listed above and the value of core and optional employee benefits offered by Boston Scientific (BSC) \u2013 see www.bscbenefitsconnect.com\u2014will vary based on actual location of the position and other pertinent factors considered in determining actual compensation for the role.
