About Streck: Streck is a Nebraska-based manufacturing company that makes a global impact by developing and distributing to labs worldwide. Our products provide confidence for accurate health care testing!  Our passions and priorities are focused on taking care of our customers, employees, and giving back to our community. Streck has jobs for every stage of your career. If you are a dependable, hard-working, and team-oriented individual who values meaningful work, Streck is looking for you to join our community of passionate people on a mission!

About the Role

Join Streck’s Operations team as a Processing Supervisor, where you’ll lead a skilled team responsible for the initial processing of incoming cellular components in a regulated biomedical environment. If you thrive on combining scientific precision with people leadership — and want to make a meaningful impact on the quality of products that matter — this role is for you.

What You’ll Do:

  • Oversee the processing of RBC cellular components, ensuring all work follows Standard Operating Procedures and Quality System Requirements.

  • Maintain hands-on competency across all processing steps; step in to support or cover Technicians when needed.

  • Enforce strict aseptic technique andstandards to meet sterility requirements.

  • Plan and schedule all departmental functions — including production schedules, staff time off, overtime, and team meetings.

  • Manage raw material and supply inventories to keep production running on schedule; initiate purchase requests as needed.

  • Ensure all process documentation is accurate, legible, and completed on time.

  • Review and revise departmental SOPs and work instructions for alignment with FDA and ISO Quality Systems.

  • Partner with other production departments to solve cross-functional challenges and meet production targets.

  • Lead recruiting, interviewing, and hiring for the department; conduct regular 1-on-1s and performance reviews.

  • Champion continuous improvement by surfacing ideas for cost reduction, equipment upgrades, and efficiency gains.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a science-related field, or an Associate’s degree with relevant hands-on experience.

  • Experience in an FDA/ISO-regulated environment; prior supervisory experience is preferred.

  • Dependable, highly organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills — both written and verbal.

  • Ability to operate lab equipment including centrifuges, bench scales, and peristaltic pumps.

  • Comfortable with occasional physical demands: lifting up to 40 lbs, extended standing, and working in laboratory attire.

Key Competencies:

Effective Decision Making

  • Analyzes complex situations, identifies root causes, and acts decisively — even under time pressure.

Change Agility

  • Adapts quickly to shifting priorities and guides teams through change with clear communication and sound judgment.

Team Leadership

  • Builds high-performing teams through coaching, clear expectations, and creating accountability at every level.

Strategic Awareness

  • Understands how department decisions connect to broader organizational goals and manages resources accordingly.

Streck Offerings

  • A challenging, safe and rewarding work environment

  • No night or weekend shifts

  • Excellent work life balance

  • Market competitive pay

  • Comprehensive and inclusive benefits

  • Great team environment

  • On and off campus career development opportunities
