Summary
Naviam is looking for a Product Designer to work closely with the software development team to design intuitive user experiences and elegant user interfaces across Naviam’s suite of mobile and web products. The right candidate will be able to quickly learn existing software products, understand the needs of enterprise users, and create visually clear, practical, and engaging experiences for a wide range of customers.
This role partners with product leads, software engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders to define user flows, create prototypes and proof of concepts, and support the implementation of UI elements for Naviam’s products. While the position is focused on product design, UI/UX, and prototyping, front-end development skills are also valuable for helping bridge design and implementation.

Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with product leads to design user experiences and define how users move through Naviam’s products.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and proof of concepts to improve user understanding of Naviam’s mobile and web products based on implementation requirements and customer needs.
- Design user-facing features and UI components for Naviam’s mobile and web applications.
- Collaborate with software engineers to define, refine, and implement UI elements across Naviam’s product suite.
- Apply best practices for web and mobile UI design, usability, accessibility, performance, and scalability.
- Keep up to date with current UI/UX trends, design systems, responsive design practices, and mobile application design standards.
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and work effectively across product, engineering, and development teams.
- Support the evolution of Naviam’s design patterns and product experience across multiple applications.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Interactive Media, Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field required.
- 2+ years of experience working in a UI, UX, Product Designer, or similar digital product design role.
- Experience designing web and mobile interfaces, preferably for business, enterprise, SaaS, or workflow-oriented applications.
- Experience creating user flows, wireframes, prototypes, visual designs, and proof-of-concept designs.
- Experience collaborating with product managers, product leads, software engineers, and cross-functional development teams.
- Experience with Figma, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Creative Suite, and other digital design or prototyping tools.
- Exposure to front-end development concepts or experience supporting implementation of UI components is preferred.
Skills
- Strong visual design, interaction design, and user experience design skills.
- High proficiency with Figma and common digital design, prototyping, and collaboration tools.
- Understanding of Material Design concepts and mobile design patterns preferred.
- Strong comprehension of responsive design, usability principles, and current UI trends.
- Ability to create clear prototypes, wireframes, mockups, and design specifications that support technical implementation.
- Ability to learn new technologies independently without formal training.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain design decisions to product and engineering stakeholders.
- Proven track record in web and mobile UI design with sample work or a portfolio.
- Ability to balance user needs, product goals, technical feasibility, and implementation constraints.

Final compensation will be reviewed and determined based on the selected candidate’s qualifications, experience, and applicable work location, in accordance with Naviam’s compensation guidelines.
