Product Engineer

Essential Job Functions:

•Apply new technologies to develop products that solve customer needs.
•Broad understanding of engineering principles
•Take a concept from idea phase through to production launch.
•Develop and execute testing plans for novel concepts.
•Apply tools like DFMEA, DVP&R, Cost Estimates, and work within a stage-gate process.
•Collaborate within cross-functional teams to meet project deliverables.
•Embrace the iterative nature of R&D, knowing when to pause or persevere.

Candidate Requirements:
•Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.
•0-3+ years experience with new product development.
•Familiarity with CAD software (SolidWorks preferred) and basic knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
•Strong problem-solving skills and curiosity.
•Effective communication and time management skills with the ability to work on multiple tasks independently.
•Familiarity with injection molding and extrusions; experience with glass or building materials a plus.
•Oracle or ERP system experience a plus.
