WHERE YOU WILL WORK

This is a hybrid position based at our headquarters in Lake Nona-Orlando, Florida. The daily schedule is 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with remote work on Monday and Friday and in-office work Tuesday through Thursday.  

WHO YOU ARE

The Product Visualization Designer (3D Rendering & Visualization) is responsible for developing photorealistic 3D visual content that showcases The AMES Companies product portfolio across e-commerce, retail packaging, sales materials, digital marketing, merchandising, and corporate communications. This role transforms engineering data, CAD files, product specifications, and design concepts into highly realistic rendered imagery that accurately represents product form, scale, materials, finishes, and intended use.

The ideal candidate combines strong visualization, rendering, and compositing skills with a passion for product storytelling and digital innovation. This role will create both studio-quality product renderings and fully developed lifestyle environments that help consumers visualize products in real-world applications. The position works closely with Engineering, Product Management, Marketing, and the Creative team to establish and maintain best-in-class digital asset standards.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Create realistic lifestyle and environmental scenes that demonstrate product usage and support consumer understanding within retail and e-commerce channels.


• Develop a working knowledge of The AMES Companies product portfolio to create photorealistic visualizations that accurately represent product use, scale, materials, finishes, and real-world applications.


• Collaborate with Engineering, Marketing, Product Management, and the Creative team to gather product specifications, CAD files, and project requirements.


• Communicate project status, timelines, and requirements with Creative team leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.


• Organize and maintain digital asset libraries including source files, CAD models, textures, materials, scene templates, and final rendered outputs.


• Assist in maintaining standard operating procedures, file standards, dimensions, color accuracy, and digital asset specifications for e-commerce and marketing applications.


• Identify opportunities to improve rendering workflows, digital asset management, and visualization processes.

REQUIREMENTS

• Formal education and/or professional experience in 3D visualization, rendering, animation, or digital product visualization.


• Strong understanding of product photography principles and composition.


• Experience creating photorealistic consumer products, room environments, and lifestyle scenes for product visualization.


• Familiarity with physical materials including metals, plastics, wood, fabrics, coatings, and surface finishes.


• Working knowledge of simple animations in forms of 360 Product Spins and/or Installation Process Videos.


• Understanding of e-commerce image requirements and A+ retail content standards.


• Ability to work from CAD files and perform 3D modeling modifications as needed.


• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, work independently, and maintain effective organization in a deadline-driven environment.

Portfolio Requirement:

A portfolio of work must be submitted which showcases photorealistic product renderings, environmental scenes, and digital visualization work.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in 3D Rendering/Animation, Industrial Design, Graphic Design, Science Degree in Computer Animation, or other related degrees that include scene composition and finishing, lighting and shading, model creation, 3D animation, etc.


• Demonstrated proficiency in surface modeling, material creation, lighting, and environmental scene development through academic coursework, portfolio work, or professional experience.


• Understanding of color management and the ability to accurately represent product colors, materials, and finishes across multiple digital channels.

Required Software Experience:

• 3+ years of experience developing photorealistic product renderings and digital visual assets using KeyShot or similar rendering software


• 1-2 years minimum experience working with CAD software such as SolidWorks, Creo, Inventor, or other similar software.


• Adobe Creative Suite


• Microsoft Office

Preferred Software Experience:

Familiarity with visualization and modeling platforms such as Maya, Blender, 3DS Max, Unreal Engine, or similar software

Travel Requirements

10% in-state travel to Ocala facility and local trade shows

WORK AUTHORIZATION
