We are seeking a detail-oriented Assembler/Quality Inspector to join our plastics manufacturing team. In this role, you will be the final line of defense as a technical inspector, ensuring our plastic components meet rigorous industry standards within our production facility. Whether you are coming from a background in precision assembly, have experience in a warehouse setting, or have a foundational start in manufacturing, your eye for detail as an inspector will ensure every product leaving our warehouse is of the highest caliber.

Responsibilities Include
Conducting thorough visual and tactile inspections of molded plastic parts to identify defects such as flash, warping, or short shots.
Performing dimensional inspections as a lead inspector using precision measuring instruments to ensure assembly parts adhere to blueprint specifications.
Documenting inspection results and maintaining accurate logs for the production batches.
Collaborating with the assembly and production teams to troubleshoot recurring issues.
Quarantining non-conforming materials and assisting in root-cause analysis.
Skills & Qualifications
Manufacturing Background: At least 6 months of experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or production environment is preferred.
Technical Proficiency: * Strong familiarity with calipers and micrometers is a significant plus for any inspector.
Ability to read and interpret basic technical drawings or work instructions.
Assembly Experience: Previous experience in precision assembly is highly valued, as it provides a deep understanding of part fitment and functionality.
Quality Focus: Ability to spot minute deviations in color, texture, and measurement to maintain high quality standards.
Mathematical Aptitude: Comfortable performing basic calculations for measurement recording and tolerance checks.
Communication: Clear verbal and written communication skills for reporting defects to supervisors and peers.
Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for the duration of the shift and handle small-to-medium plastic components frequently.
Compensation & Benefits
Competitive Pay: Compensation is determined by candidate experience, education, certifications, and specific job-related skills. $20 - $24/hr
