Production Associate

Job Summary:

The Production Associate position is the entry level position for Production. It is the Production Associate’s job to aid in the efficient and safe production of quality product. Employees at this level may be asked to perform multiple positions including packing, palletizing, assisting in processing, etc and these positions may be changed throughout the day.

Requirements

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: (Additional duties as assigned)

• Perform job responsibilities in accordance to job specifications
• Work efficiently, safely and accurately
• Ensure that all equipment, machinery, and utensils are clean, free of debris, and in good condition before beginning assigned duties
• Communicate any line stoppages
• May be assigned in any of the following positions:
• Slab line: aiding in ensuring that product in continuously fed onto the slab line
• Pick up line: catching bars as they come down the line, ensuring bars continue through the process in a neat and orderly fashion, and assisting in the maintenance of overflow product during stoppages.
• Do-boy: ensuring that bars are fed into the wrapping machine continuously and neatly
• Packing: ensure the correct quantity of bars are placed in cartons and/or shippers and that the correct number of cartons are packed into shippers
• Palletizer: ensuring shippers of product are palletized according to job specifications, hand wrapping completed pallets and removing pallets of finished goods to the warehouse
• Assist in any rework

Hours: 

Monday-Friday: 6:30am-3pm (end of shift may vary based on business needs)

Hours may change depending on business needs.

Pay Range:

$13/hr
