Job Description - Production Associate - 2nd Shift

POSITION SUMMARY
Lay-Up operators are responsible for the Prepreg and B-Sales sheeting operation on the Rosenthal Sheeter in addition to laying up Prepreg layers for the purpose of constructing copper clad or unclad laminates. Ensure proper identification of material and filling out the manufacturing Lot Traveler. Operation of the Techno-isel Drill Machine for the purpose of tooling B-Sales. Utilize the vacuum heat sealer for B-Sales orders. Enter completed jobs into our Oracle database. Lay-Up operators are also responsible in following the method spelled out in our MOP for cleaning all white rooms and associated equipment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Maintain equipment in good working order.
Maintain clean room supplies & clean rooms.
Maintain traceability on all materials.
Maintain productivity records and housekeeping check lists.
Interpret data to determine basic construction of semi-finished board taken from traveler and record lot numbers.
Assemble lot determined by data on traveler.
Visual inspection of pre-Preg for inclusions or discoloration before lay-up.
Ensure correct lot information is recorded on travelers and accurate data entry into ORACLE.
Labeling & bagging of B-Sales.
Drilling/Tooling B-Sales.
Follow all MOPS.
Operator will be cross trained in other departments and used as needed in those predetermined areas as needed based on business demand.
All other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or GED required.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Basic mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
Forklift experience or ability to obtain certification preferred.

Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English is required.

SAFETY REQUIREMENTS

Must follow all OSHA standards and company safety procedures.
Required to wear appropriate personal protective equipment based on job function and training.

Ability to talk and hear clearly for safety on the production floor.
Visual ability including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus as needed.

Weekly pay
$1.00 shift differential for 2nd shift
