Production Coordinator

Summary 

We are looking for a Production Coordinator to help keep development, marketing, and other partners aligned as we bring new worlds to life. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on organization, communication, and keeping information flowing smoothly across a fast-moving, multi-disciplinary team. 

Core Responsibilities 

• Play and demo game builds confidently for development, marketing, publishing, and other stakeholders during reviews, check-ins, presentations, and other meetings. 


• Develop a strong understanding of the game and its current state to effectively navigate builds, answer questions, and help stakeholders engage with the work. 


• Coordinate communication and information sharing between development, marketing, publishing, and other partners to keep teams aligned on timelines and deliverables. 


• Support cross-functional production planning and scheduling, including meetings, reviews, milestone check-ins, and other key development activities. 


• Capture and edit gameplay video and demo footage for internal reviews, pitches, presentations, and other needs. 


• Keep production organized and moving forward by maintaining schedules, documentation, asset lists, status trackers, and other key production information, while tracking action items, deadlines, and open questions across teams. 


• Support day-to-day production coordination by preparing meeting agendas, capturing notes and decisions, communicating next steps, and handling administrative and logistical needs across departments. 


• Flag scheduling conflicts, missing information, and potential miscommunication early, escalating issues to senior production staff when appropriate. 

Core Qualifications 

• 0–2 years of experience in production, coordination, project management, or a related field, including internships. 


• A genuine love of video games, with the ability to quickly learn a game and confidently navigate and demo development builds. 


• Strong game literacy and the ability to clearly communicate what you are seeing and experiencing in a game build. 


• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a willingness to take ownership of the tasks at hand. 


• Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills. 


• Ability to work effectively across multiple teams and disciplines with different priorities and working styles. 


• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. 


• Familiarity with standard productivity and production tracking tools such as Excel, Google Sheets, Jira, Confluence, or equivalent. 

Plus If... 

• Prior experience or coursework related to video game development, marketing, publishing, or production. 


• Experience supporting cross-functional or multi-disciplinary teams. 


• Familiarity with production tracking tools such as Jira or Confluence. 


• Experience with video editing software such as Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or equivalent. 


• Basic video editing skills, including the ability to capture, organize, and cut together gameplay footage. 


• Experience in a creative or entertainment industry role, including internships or student projects.

The base pay range for this position is $30 to $35 per hour. Actual compensation is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
