Job Description - Production Expeditor Coordinator

Barnes Aerospace has an exciting career opportunity for a Production Expeditor/Planning Assistant. The candidate will be responsible to help to expedite product on the shop floor to ensure customer satisfaction and delivery requirements are met. Core Responsibilities: 


Responsibilities:



  • Communicates and works with the respective department personnel to ensure critical parts are expedited through the required processes.

  • Support shop floor planning in the movement of parts from one work center to another.

  • Review system requirements and plan part flow accordingly.

  • Support stores, operations and shipping.

  • Provide delivery promises, expedite tool repairs and ascertain availability of material, on as-needed basis.

  • Expedite outside processing (OSP).

  • Maintains positive working relationships.

  • Perform all other similar and/or related duties as required.


 


Qualifications: 


 



  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in manufacturing environment with material handling experience, preferably for an aerospace organization.

  • Forklift licensed with experience using a hand forklift and crane.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and move parts throughout plant.

  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software program. Ability to be trained in usage of manufacturing applications. 

  • Excellent responsiveness and customer focus


 


 


Education Requirements:


  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
