Hourly Production
Responsibilities
- Position requires individual to cut, trim, and fabricate wholesale beef products in a production line setting.
Functional Requirements
- Ability to lift, push, and pull product repetitively in a hot and/or cold assembly line environment
- Ability to work with sharp instruments
- Must maintain good personal hygiene
Departments Include
- Fabrication, Slaughter, Case Ready, Material Handling, Rendering based off of company hiring needs.
The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:
- Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 90 days of employment.
- Paid time off: sick leave, vacation, and 6 company observed holidays;
- Retirement pension plan
- Base pay range of $23.90-30.40

Grand Island has the capacity to process more than 1,400,000 cattle per year and currently exports to 20 different countries around the world including Japan, Hong Kong, Mexico, Korea, Canada, Singapore, China and Chile. Grand Island loaded out approximately 10,140,000 boxes of beef in 2012.
