Production Line Operator 2026-09

Sea Breeze manufactures and distributes premium beverages on tap throughout the Metro New York–New Jersey area. Since 1925, we have provided customized design, installation, and repair of bar guns and beverage dispensing systems to hospitality, educational, and healthcare facilities. We also manufacture a variety of chocolate syrups, pancake syrups, cocktail mixers, and other flavored syrups for retail distribution throughout the United States and globally.

Sea Breeze is seeking a hardworking, dependable Production Line Operator to support our food manufacturing and packaging operations.

This is a hands-on position responsible for operating, setting up, monitoring, and maintaining food packaging and processing equipment throughout the production process. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, be comfortable working around machinery, and be able to identify and troubleshoot basic equipment issues.

The Production Line Operator will work as part of the production team to help maintain an efficient, safe, and consistent manufacturing operation.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate food packaging and processing equipment

• Set up and adjust packaging equipment for production runs

• Start, stop, and monitor production equipment throughout the shift

• Make equipment adjustments as needed to maintain proper operation

• Monitor product flow and equipment performance during production

• Identify and troubleshoot basic mechanical or operating issues

• Perform routine equipment checks and basic preventative maintenance

• Lubricate and maintain production equipment as required

• Assist with equipment changeovers between production runs

• Assist with minor equipment repairs when needed

• Follow production procedures and manufacturing specifications

• Follow food safety, quality, sanitation, and GMP requirements

• Complete required production and equipment documentation

• Use basic computer systems for production-related documentation and communication

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

• Assist with sanitation and cleaning of production equipment as needed

• Safely use hand and power tools when working with production equipment

• Communicate equipment problems or production concerns to management

• Assist with other production-related duties as needed

Schedule

• Monday – Friday

• Regular schedule approximately 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM

• Some Saturday overtime may be required

• Flexibility to adjust work hours based on production needs is an asset

• $25.00/hour

• Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment preferred

• Experience operating food packaging or processing equipment is strongly preferred

• Strong mechanical aptitude

• Comfortable working with production machinery and equipment

• Ability to set up, adjust, and monitor production equipment

• Ability to troubleshoot basic mechanical and equipment issues

• Basic understanding of mechanical systems, electronics, controls, electricity, or pneumatics is an asset

• Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team

• Dependable with a strong work ethic and positive attitude

• Ability to follow food safety, quality, and sanitation procedures

• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical production work

• Must pass a drug test

• Subject to completion of a background check in accordance with applicable law.
