New Mexico Piñon Coffee is looking for dependable, hands-on people to join our production team as Machine Operators and Production Line Workers. If you enjoy staying active, working with a team, and taking pride in making a quality product, we would love to hear from you.
We are seeking candidates who show up ready to work, pay attention to detail, and care about doing the job safely and correctly.
Production Line Workers — Production I
Operate basic automatic and semiautomatic equipment to process, label, seal, package, and box coffee.
Follow production orders, written procedures, and job aids accurately.
Inspect products throughout the production process for quality and packaging issues.
Complete production paperwork clearly and accurately.
Keep work areas clean, organized, and ready for production.
Work with the team to meet production deadlines and minimize waste.
Machine Operators — Production II
Operate equipment used to process, flavor, and grind coffee.
Perform light equipment maintenance and troubleshoot operating issues.
Use SAP and warehouse management systems to process production orders and track inventory.
Use scanners, mobile devices, and equipment control screens.
Check product quality and maintain accurate production records.
Help train new team members on established procedures as needed.
In both roles, you’ll follow food safety requirements, Good Manufacturing Practices, company procedures, and safe material handling practices, including proper use of protective equipment.
Reliable team members with consistent attendance and punctuality.
People who work well with others and communicate clearly.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
Willingness to learn, follow instructions, and adapt to changing production needs.
Ability to stay productive and take initiative without constant supervision.
For machine operator candidates, comfort working with equipment, troubleshooting, and learning production technology.
Spanish and English bilingual skills are a plus.
Production, packaging, manufacturing, or machine operation experience is helpful. We also encourage applicants with transferable hands-on skills and a strong willingness to learn.
These positions work in a warehouse environment. Work may involve heat, cold, dust, noise, vibration, and moving machinery.
Duties include standing and walking throughout the shift; repetitive bending, reaching, twisting, pushing, and pulling; and lifting or moving items up to 30 pounds. Machine operator duties also include handling larger material loads and using equipment interfaces. Essential functions may be performed with or without reasonable accommodation.
