Torito Brands expects the Production Specialist and everyone in the company to provide an excellent Service to all Internal and External Customers, always. Additionally, it is expected that the work area and anywhere of interaction is clean, organized, free from garbage, and most of all to follow the implemented safety standards. Whenever a safety irregularity is seen, we expect you to take or cause to act by informing the proper department.

Summary

The Production Specialist is responsible for the production and/or packaging of a variety of manufactured products. This job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive list of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required by the employee. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

•Perform production duties such as manual lifting, packaging, taping, labeling, and sorting. Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the leaders.

•Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations as set my management (subject to change based on company needs)

•Must complete repetitive work tasks and be able to remain focused on counting and recording numbers.

•Perform related duties as assigned by leaders.

•Break down cardboard for recycling as needed.

•Wear required company supplied PPE as directed.

•Maintain production time expectations as set by management.

•Duties subject to change based on the production needs of the company & market demand.

Requirements

•Understand and follow basic verbal and written instructions.

•Effectively communicate information and respond to questions from various levels within the organization.

•Possess basic mathematical skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

•Perform basic visual quality inspections on products.

•Failure to meet production role expectations will result in disciplinary action up to and including termination.

Physical Demands

•Required to stand for long periods of time, repetitive movements.

•Must be able to lift to 50 pounds floor to waist.

•May also engage in frequent bending, stooping, squatting, pushing, and pulling of boxes.

•Exposure to raw food constantly.
