About the Opportunity:

Veridian is searching for a Production Supervisor to ensure the production process is carried out in accordance with our business plans and quality policy.

Key Responsibilities Include: 

• Supervise and coordinate efforts of production operators.
• Direct work flow to support customer commitments.
• Provide the communication link between production workers and management.
• Maintain record of employee performance concerns and/or disciplinary actions taken.
• Manage and monitor accuracy of employee time card data and work completion records.
• Use tact and good judgment to help solve problems that workers are having on their jobs, to correct production issues, and to settle disputes.
• Manage production activities to support Veridian objectives in the areas of:
  • Product Defect Rates
  • Production Efficiency
  • Labor Utilization
  • Material Utilization
  • On Time Delivery
• Support and help identify continuous improvement opportunities that enhance labor/material efficiency, employee safety, and/or product quality.

About You:

• Experience as supervisor in the manufacturing environment.
• Experience in garment or textile manufacturing or the equivalent.
• You have strong problem solving, conflict resolution, and team building skills.
• Ability to work independently without oversight. 
• You possess a Vocational or Technical diploma or degree or the equivalent.
