Production Supervisor

LINDAR is looking for an experienced Production Supervisor to join our team and help lead our manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for supporting daily production, developing and coaching employees, maintaining quality and safety standards, and helping the team achieve production goals.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, has strong mechanical aptitude, and knows how to build a team while holding people accountable.

What You'll Do

• Lead and supervise the production team to successfully execute daily production plans and schedules.


• Communicate effectively with production teams and department leadership to keep operations running smoothly.


• Monitor production performance and ensure accurate, timely completion of production records and documentation.


• Ensure employees follow established work instructions, standard practices, safety requirements, and company procedures.


• Coordinate machine setups with the Setup Technician team to minimize downtime and keep production moving.


• Partner with the Quality team to ensure timely first-article approvals, product inspections, and overall product quality.


• Plan and coordinate break coverage to maintain production efficiency.


• Promote Lean principles and encourage employee participation in continuous improvement, safety, and Lean initiatives.


• Participate in interviewing, hiring, and onboarding new team members.


• Support employee training, development, and cross-training to build a stronger, more flexible team.


• Review and approve timecards and manage employee schedules and PTO.


• Provide coaching and feedback, monitor performance improvement plans, and recommend corrective action when needed.


• Participate in employee performance reviews and help team members reach their full potential.


• Serve as a positive, visible leader who promotes teamwork, accountability, safety, quality, and continuous improvement.


• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

• Ability to identify problems, prioritize effectively, and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.


• Minimum of 5 years of manufacturing experience preferred.


• Minimum of 3 years of supervisory or leadership experience preferred.


• Proven ability to lead and develop a strong production team.


• Experience in a manufacturing environment is strongly preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Schedule

This is a full-time, exempt position, generally working 40–50 hours per week, based on business and production needs.
