Production Support Technician

This role’s general statement of duties and responsibilities includes:

·         Preparing our cut parts for distribution to our outsourcing facilities

·         Loading and unloading materials for outsourcing partners

·         Accurately documenting production information as necessary

·         Assisting in inventory management and notifying the appropriate personnel of any shortages or damages of mechanically cut parts

·         Travel, using company vehicles as necessary; to deliver and or pick up products going to and from customers and outsourcing partners and our facility.

·         Collaborating with other team members to meet production and outsourcing scheduling

·         Assist in setting up and operating machinery, according to safety protocols.

·         Keeping the working area organized, safe, and clean.

EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

Required:   

·         HS Diploma or equivalent GED

·         Forklift Operator experience/certification

·         Overhead crane experience/certification

·         Aerial lift experience/certification.

·         The ability to obtain a DOT medical Card

Desired

·         Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment is preferred

·         Basic understanding of fabrication machinery and processes

·         Strong attention to detail and quality control

·         Ability to follow instructions and safety regulations

·         Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
