Our employees are not only part of history, they\u0027re making history.\n\nNorthrop Grumman\u2019s Space Sector is seeking a Production Test Technician \u2013 Level 2 or Level 3 to join our team in Dulles, VA. This position is 100% onsite and cannot accommodate telecommute work.\n\nThis position will be performing day-to-day work in Component Test Lab (CTL) work center\n\nThis position will work a 9/80 schedule, with every other Friday off.\n\nIn this job, you will:\n\n * Operate electronic ground support equipment (EGSE) Test racks by mating/demate cables for Avionics \u0026 box level testing, performs checkout pre and post-use inspections, data gathering and other requirements as necessary. \n\n * Sets up test apparatus and conducts tests for Avionic assemblies (CCA\u2019s) \u0026 Circuit card boxes by following methods, procedures, standards, and sequences.\n\n * Lays out and assembles units for production equipment according to designs and specifications. Adjusts and calibrate systems as needed.\n\n * Uses hand and small power tools, and various measuring and testing devices in performing job duties. May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.\n\n * Test, troubleshooting, removal, installation, modification, and maintenance of Avionics Boxes \u0026 circuit card Assemblies with collaboration \u0026 support from Test Engineering group.\n\n * Must be able to read and interpret schematics, engineering drawings, and written or verbal instructions to fabricate and assemble necessary fixtures and/or components.\n\n * Other responsibilities include: Conducting tests and reporting data in the prescribed format, using predetermined methods, sequences, and setups to inspect or test specific equipment or products.\n\n * Must be willing to work a flexible work schedule that may include extended shifts, holidays, and weekends as required\n\n\n\n\nThis position can be fill at either a Level 2 or Level 3.\n\nBasic Qualifications for Level 2:\n\n * High School diploma or equivalent and 2 years additional education and/or related experience. \n\n * No clearance required to start\n\n * Ability to lift 30lbs\n\n * Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook), Teams chat.\n\n * Should be able to print out Test procedures though Windchill or similar systems as needed with basic training provided.\n\n\n\n\nBasic Qualifications for Level 3:\n\n * High School diploma or equivalent and 2 years additional education and/or related experience. \n\n * No clearance required to start\n\n * Ability to lift 30lbs\n\n * Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook)\n\n * Should be able to print out Test procedures though Windchill or similar systems as needed with basic training provided.\n\n\n\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\n * Active Secret clearance with investigation closeout within the last 3 years.\n\n * Developmental or Operational test experience\n\n * Mix of back shop and flightline maintenance experience\n\n * Must be able to lead and train lower-level employees.\n\n * Technician in an industry preferably in test area but can be accepted in electronics, mechanics or assembly experience in lieu of test.\n\n\n\n\nCurious about all the exciting developments with the Northrop Grumman Space Sector? For more information on our Total Rewards package, please visit our Total Rewards site.\n\nNorthrop Grumman Total Rewards\n\nPrimary Level Salary Range: $51,400.00 - $85,600.00\n\nSecondary Level Salary Range: $61,100.00 - $101,800.00\n\nThe above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate\u0027s experience, education, skills and current market conditions.\n\nDepending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
