Program and Classroom Support Specialist

 Overview:

Pherson is seeking a Program and Classroom Support Specialist to provide operational and instructional support for training programs and classroom activities. This role is responsible for preparing classrooms and technology prior to sessions, assisting instructors with training exercises, coordinating scheduling and participant logistics, and ensuring a seamless learning experience for all attendees. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent customer service skills, strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, and the flexibility to support a fast-paced training environment. Experience with classroom technology, communication coordination, and participant support is highly valued.

Location: Northern Virginia

Operating Hours and Expectations: This position anticipates onsite work with standard work hours, Monday-Friday. Extended hours may be required during peak periods

Security Clearance:  TS/SCI w/ Full-scope Poly (TS/SCI ISSA)

Position Type: Full-Time

Skills/Knowledge:

• Ability to set up classroom materials and technology before sessions.


• Ability to assist instructors during training exercises and gather participant feedback.


• Ability to help instructors manage logistics related to the program schedule and participant needs.


• Flexibility to respond to changing classroom dynamics.


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including with senior managers, instructors, and adult learners.


• Excellent customer service skills.


• Ability to work in classified environment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree.


• Five to seven (5-7) years of experience on related projects.


• Demonstrated success in facilitating training sessions and classroom operations to ensure a conducive learning environment.


• Demonstrated ability to balance multiple tasks efficiently and effectively.
