Overview
The Yale Law School International Law Programs Program Coordinator provides high-level administrative support for one or more programs, overseeing logistics, conducting research, and making recommendations on logistical or administrative matters. Responsibilities include drafting written materials (i.e., weekly newsletter), collecting and analyzing data, scheduling and coordinating travel and meetings, handling business transactions and reimbursements, supporting fellowship selection processes, producing website content, and maintaining communications with various partners and stakeholders. Some of these tasks are assisted by Yale University students, whom the Program Coordinator oversees. The Program Coordinator supports Yale Law School students and student groups who are beneficiaries of the Program. In addition, The Program Coordinator designs and produces reports, manages event logistics, and ensures the smooth administration of the program while adhering to Yale University policies and guidelines. This role requires excellent organizational and project management skills, the ability to multitask, and proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe, and Workday.
This position is hybrid at the discretion of the manager and determined by the needs of the department. May work occasional nights and weekends as needed for events.

Required Skills and Abilities
1. Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines, with keen attention to detail.
2. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as Adobe Photoshop etc.
3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including proofreading and editing abilities as well as graphic design.
4. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, showing initiative and problem-solving skills.
5. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
Preferred Skills and Abilities
1. Familiarity with database management and content management systems (e.g., Drupal, Salesforce, Workday).
2. Experience with event planning and coordination, including logistics, catering, and travel arrangements.
3. Bachelor's degree in a related field and relevant work experience in an academic or non-profit setting.
4. Interest and experience with international or multicultural environments, as well as content of the Program.
Principal Responsibilities
1. Oversees and coordinates program activities. Establishes, selects, implements, and coordinates administrative functions, procedures, and systems. 2. Based on knowledge of and experience with program activities, objectives and staff, serves as principal source of information on policies, procedures, programs and office activities. Establishes and maintains professional relationships with internal and external contacts. 3. Processes and monitors expenses and ensures adherence to budgetary guidelines. Prepares budget drafts based on existing budgets. May oversee, coordinate and/or complete applications and materials needed for grant submission. 4. Composes substantive correspondence and written material. Determines sources of data. Compiles, synthesizes and manipulates data. Summarizes findings and writes, produces and distributes reports or portions of reports. May create simple databases. 5. Provides editorial support for a journal/publication. Proofreads and edits material for grammatical and factual accuracy. Tracks copy through various editing and production stages. Communicates with authors, printers, and others concerned with published work. 6. Oversees, instructs, and coordinates activities of support staff. 7. Ensure compliance with University, Federal, and State guidelines, rules, and regulations. 8. May perform other duties as assigned.Job Posting Date
