Corvid Technologies is seeking Program Financial Analyst to serve as the primary finance partner for an assigned portfolio of programs. Working directly with Program Managers, this role will drive effective financial execution from setup through completion.
This is a hands-on, on-site role with direct responsibility for the financial health of assigned programs. The PFA will own the financial picture for their portfolio, including budgets, forecasts, estimates to complete, funding, cost performance, and financial reporting.
Successful candidates will understand how their programs are executing, anticipate where they are headed, identify emerging risks and opportunities, and provide Program Managers with the financial insight needed to make informed decisions.
Corvid operates in a fast-paced environment where Program Financial Analysts are expected to take ownership, work independently, and become an integral part of the program teams they support.
Responsibilities & Tasking Include:
Serve as the primary finance partner to Program Managers for an assigned portfolio of programs
Develop and maintain program budgets, forecasts, ETCs, and EACs using actual performance, staffing plans, material and subcontract requirements, and scope
Lead recurring financial reviews with Program Managers and communicate performance, forecast changes, and variances
Review program charging and financial data for accuracy and work with program teams to resolve issues when identified
Develop financial reports and analyses for Program Management, Finance leadership, business leadership, and customers as required
Support Earned Value Management (EVM) and customer financial reporting requirements where applicable
Partner across Accounting, Contracts, Pricing, Procurement, Engineering, Manufacturing, and other functions to resolve program financial and execution issues
Qualifications:
Candidate must be a US Citizen and meet eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field
Experience in financial analysis, program finance, FP&A, accounting, program controls, or a related discipline
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple programs, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously
Ability to work effectively in an on-site, highly collaborative environment
Understanding of multiple government contract types, including Cost Plus, Fixed Price, and Time & Materials arrangements
Familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), and government contracting requirements
Experience working with an ERP or financial planning system
